Google News Releases New Changes Adding Variety And Multimedia!
By: Navneet Kaushal 2011-05-17 Google News has released expandable stories, and other changes that will give you more stories and reduce mess while you search and read news. Google includes these changes right when Google News is losing visitors. According to Compete, a website that provides analytics and solutions services to online businesses, Site Profile results, the number of unique visitors to Google News in April 2011 was 8,382,687 which is a 22.97 percent decrease from 10,882,390 unique visitors in April 2010.
While at it, it is of note that the count of unique visitors to Yahoo! News in April 2011 was 46,883,798, an increase of 32.29 percent from 35,401,829 unique visitors in April 2010. Now, the new changes with its claims (if delivered) could help Google attract more news hungry visitors to them. However, only time (and Compete) will tell.
