Google Delves Into Status Updates From Facebook
By: Doug Caverly 2010-02-26 First MySpace, then Twitter . . . now, Google's bringing Facebook into its real-time results, too. The effort's just a little bit underwhelming as things stand because only public status updates from Facebook Pages are involved. Facebook Pages are officially defined as being "for organizations, businesses, celebrities, and bands to ...
...broadcast great information to fans in an official, public manner." Which is fine and well, since it's fun for individuals to display their likes and loyalties, and Facebook Pages are more polished than user-made groups.
