Microsoft has announced a number of enhancements to Bing, including a partnership with computational search engine, Wolfram Alpha. This will see Bing providing consumers with answers alongside the regular search results. In case you missed the initial hype, Wolfram Alpha is a new breed of search engine that...

Say for example, you wanted to know which has more protein, steak or chicken? By using Wolfram Alpha, Bing can now provide this answer within your search results...You can also find answers to tricky mathematics questions.

This is a great move by Bing, because it means consumers wont have to visit different search engines based on the nature of their query. Bing says that this integration will be rolling out across the U.S. over the next several days.

Bing Videos
Bing has also launched a new video portal where users can access videos from across the web. This will include clips from competing websites like Hulu and YouTube.

Advanced Hover Preview Feature
Bing has also enhanced their hover preview feature to include a visual preview of each site and access to deep links within the site. These previews dont come automatically, users must visit the more information prompt to the right of each listing.

All in all, a solid round of search enhancements, especially with the Wolfram Alpha partnership.
