Google Calendar Gets Vital Usability Boost
By: Ross Dunn 2008-03-07 Yesterday the Official Google Blog rather quietly announced the availability of Google Calendar Sync; a program for synchronizing Google Calendar with Microsoft Outlook. Now this is something that many of us have been eagerly waiting a long time for so I have to say the rather itty-bitty post is a bit uncharacteristic... perhaps I missed the first unveiling or something?
It is still in beta but GMobileSync offers the ability to synchronize directly between Google Calendar and your portable if it is running Windows Mobile 5.0 (maybe newer versions work too - not sure). Blackberry and Google Calendar Google already offers a method to synchronize directly between Google Calendar and your Blackberry.http://news.stepforth.com/blog/2008/03/google-calendar-gets-vital-usability.php Tag: Google Add to Del.icio.us | Digg | Reddit | Furl Have a bookmark! - ![]() View All Articles by Ross Dunn About the Author: Ross Dunn is the CEO and founder of StepForth Web Marketing Inc, a web marketing company founded in 1997 and based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
