Top Searches Whos That How Much And Who Cares 
By: SearchNewz Staff 2006-06-30 This week's buzzy search report, courtesy of Google Zeitgeist, is a little more diverse than last week's male-dominated society review.
On the Google-searching public's mind lately: soccer (again); bizzilionaires; celebrities and their "who's that?" lovers; sports that aren't soccer; and unsolved mysteries. Unsolved mystery #1: Who's Keith Urban and why do I keep seeing him next to Tom Cruise's ex-skeleton. Er, I mean wife. He and Nicole Kidman are the #4 and #3 top gaining searches this week as the honeymoon somewhere in the South Pacific. Is he at least as tall as she is? Unsolved mystery #2: Who's Richard Stahl? He's #5. World Cup is the top gainer for the second week in a row. Apparently, this is important outside America. In China, when the house burst into flames, a woman grabbed the baby and her husband grabbed the TV. He didn't want to miss the game. We Americans would grab the dog and a sandwich. The pagans of the world celebrated a millennia-old tradition by searching for information about the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. June 21st couldn't have been longer than listening to this, could it? The first day of summer was #6 on the list. Jeff Gordon's not gay after all. Of course, he is engaged to the one European model without any obligatory European model nudie shots. Hmmmm. That's fishy. Isn't it against the law in Belgium to be a clothed model? If it's not, it should be. Anyway, his new bride, Ingrid Vandebosch, is #9. Number 10 on the Google Zeitgeist list was UK's tennis championship, Wimbledon. Not to take away from the dignity of the sport or anything, but, personally, no Kournikova, no turn the channel ova. The rest of the list is as follows: 2. Aaron Spelling 7.
