Yahoo Updates Index, Feedback Process 
By: David Utter 2006-05-30 The latest weather report from Yahoo for its search engine has some changes in where sites are ranked and what is now in the search index. Yahoo reported in its Search Blog that another update had taken place recently.
The update finished up as the Memorial Day weekend started. Site publishers should recheck Yahoo to see where their sites may be now that the update is in place. Also, Yahoo will no longer accept feedback at the email address it has previously used for that purpose. Instead, a new feedback form has been established. Commenters on the Yahoo Search Blog entry about the update noted how Wikipedia and Amazon pages have been hitting the first page of Yahoo search results for certain topics and terms, and that not all Yahoo sites seem to be using Yahoo's newest algorithm. --- Tag: Yahoo Add to  Del.icio.us |  Digg |  Yahoo!
