Google Desktop Leaves Beta

The latest version of Google Desktop Search (the one with the evil "your data on Google's servers" feature, paranoid ass) has left beta.

Included with the latest version is a new feature: Hit the CTRL key twice and the Quick Search Box appears in the center of the screen and lets you search, complete with live search. A great new feature, and heavy users of desktop should rejoice.
