Yahoo Acquires Webjay Playlist Sharing Site

Yahoo! has acquired the Webjay playlist sharing site.

On the Webjay site users can create playlists using music/audio/video from around the Web via an Ajax interface and share them with others. According to Ian C Rogers, Yahoo Music Engine has some interesting playlisting features, open APIs, and more goodies on the way that incorporate Webjay. Also, he noted Webjay's founder, Lucas Gonze, has joined Yahoo.
