By Chris Richardson

Article Date: 2005-05-25

Google, long a supporter of international languages, is quite adamant about developing multi-lingual services in order to facilitate world-wide Google adoption.

The practice of producing (or adapting) Google products and services for multi-national users seems to filter down to the majority of Google's tools. The latest Google tool to receive an international update is the Google Desktop Search utility.

According to the Google Blog, Google has updated their desktop search tool to support the following languages:

French
Italian
German
Spanish
Dutch
Chinese (simplified)
Chinese (traditional)
Japanese
Korean
