Google Backlink Update In Progress

It's that time again ladies and gentlemen: time for site owners to visit various datacenters; hoping to find favorable answers concerning the search performance of their web site... in other words, there's another Google update taking place.
Currently, Google is updating backlinks, one of the most important aspects for acquiring respectable search engine rankings. As indicated by Barry Schwartz, these backlink updates seem to be occurring on a monthly basis.
In order to see if a site has been influenced, negatively or otherwise, by the backlink update, webmasters and SEO providers can perform a backlink check (link:www.yoursite.com) at the various Google datacenters:

However, because Google doesn't display every links pointing to a particular site, backlink checks in Google (link:www.yoursite.com) should be taken with a grain of salt.
