Yahoo Says Don't Bother Blogging

The Yahoo! Buzz Index blog reports that searchers are increasingly seeking out blogs on specific topics.

However, I strongly disagree with this line ...

If there's a subject without a blog devoted to it by now, maybe it just isn't worth covering.

I guess that means that new bloggers should go home. Gimme a break. There were lots of PR bloggers before I started. Does that mean I should have run away? What about technology blogging? Geez, I guess Dave Winer is covering it all so I will stay home.

Nuh uh. If you have something to say, you're ready to contribute to the discussion and do it the "right" way, start a blog. "Snap a Z" and don't let anyone tell you that you can't be a part of this great thing we call the blogopshere.
