NextSearchSurvey Reveals Interesting Search Engine Data

Sid Yadav reveals the results of a survey he has been compiling for months now. More than 3500 participants shared their views on the search engines.

After a long wait, two months delay, the NextSearchSurvey results are out! Check it out. Oh, by the way, if you don't know what NextSearchSurvey is, it's a survey we launched back in September to find out what people think about search. We had an enormous amount of surveyors, approximately 3500-4000, all thanks to the bloggers who were willing to help (Tara Calishain, John Battelle, Chris Short, George Kepnick, Andy Beal, Aaron Wall, Barry Schwartz and Gary Price).


I was pretty surprised with some of the results, but overall I got what I expected. Here are some results I was surprised about:
