Google May Have Pulled A Corp. Blogger From Its Web Index

Searchwatcher John Battelle notes that Google Blogoscoped found a blogging Googler who was posting openly about the company.

He said some not so nice things and then quickly blanked his posts. His site is now empty, for the most part. But here's where it gets interesting.

The blog site is not indexed in Google's database. Battelle speculates that the blog has been pulled manually from the company's index, something Google claims to never do. However, he did find the blog in Yahoo's cache.

The blog included a discourse on Google's benefits, and an overview of a Google party at last week's sales conference in SF. More on JB's site. Right now he's investigating and keeping an open mind, but Battelle is sharp and he smells a stinky fish.
