BlowSearch Adds New Multi-Language Search

BlowSearch recently announced that its search engine is able to gather search results in multiple languages, including Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish.

By entering a term in one of these languages, searchers are automatically provided results in the desired language. You can also set one desired language and BlowSearch will use that by default.
After a few tries it appears BlowSearch is still trying to work out some of the bugs. I did a search for the Spanish word "palabra" which in English means "word". My search results came back a mixture of English and Spanish. I began to ponder how it differentiates between word meanings. If you search for the Spanish word "angeles" results appear for the Californian city Los Angeles, but what if your desired search was to get information about angels, in Spanish? To do this change your language preference to Spanish before searching.

BlowSearch will also be sponsoring the upcoming Search Engine Strategies conference in San Jose, where WebProNews will be reporting live.

Discuss the conference at WebProWorld, the WebProNews forum.
