Google Ranking Changes

Stay calm

Googles changes its algos all the time so this is really no big deal. If you got hit with the recent change dont do anything for a few weeks and see if the traffic comes back. I have found that over the last few years when they wack a trusted site of mine that it generally comes back after a few weeks.

You should only worry if all your traffic from google goes away. Then you might legitimately be banned. Otherwise going from page one to page six for a mess of terms just means they are trying something new.

The update has hurt me a lot financially but overall the relevance of the terms they are ranking my sites for now has improved dramatically. I suspect this update might be here to stay based on that.

PS. If you cant stay calm then please add to the hysteria over on digital point. The entertainment it provides me makes my work day go faster.
