Yahoo! Testing The Integration Of Delicious
By: Navneet Kaushal 2008-01-21 Recently, Yahoo! Began testing the integration of Delicious' user generated bookmarks into its search results pages. It was during the late 2005, when Yahoo! acquired Delicious, the social bookmarking service created by Joshua Schachter. For the time being, users will see the Delicious icon as part of their normal search results, which indicates the number of people who have bookmarked those pages along with the tags people have supplied. Delicious search was always popular as the best way for searching when there is no response from other standard search engines. With the new features, it will surely maintain its popularity. Moreover, its impact can also be noticed in search rankings.
