Make Money FA$T With Google!

Testers participating in the User Experience Research Program would be paid $75 per hour for trying out existing and new Google products.

Google does not plan to attach electrodes to the bodies of the testers who sign up for the user study program, which is unfortunate because that would have been a sure upload to Google Video.

Instead, ZDNet's Google blogger Garett Rogers noted the new user study looks like a replacement for the existing Trusted Tester program. "Only now participants will be paid," he wrote.

Google said most of the studies it performs would be conducted, electrode-free, in its Mountain View headquarters. However, options for participating at one of the company's global offices, or even remotely via high-speed Internet connection, will be available for some people chosen for the program.

There is also a field study option. A potential participant can check off an option on the signup form stating he or she is willing to have a Google researcher visit.

Participants should keep in mind that Googlers are used to free food at the Googleplex, so field study subjects should either stock the refrigerator with plenty of organic food and energy drinks, or post a guard in the kitchen to keep the Googler from scarfing down all the Chips Ahoy from the cookie jar.
