Delicious Homepage Gets Hotlisted
By: David Utter 2006-05-26 A tweak to the Delicious social bookmarking site's homepage now displays a hotlist featuring the top three links of each hour. The recent change to Delicious by creator Josh Schachter and company has received mixed reviews on the blog announcing it. On the homepage, Delicious now displays a hotlist of the top three most popular links, updated each hour. "New, tasty links…every hour," it reads. These links are taken directly from the popular page, and we never show the same link twice. This guarantees that every time you visit the homepage, you’ll see something new (well, at least every hour), the post said. Some people commenting on the blog about the change like what they've seen. Most of those commenting don't care for it and would like it rolled back to its prior look and feel, or at least have a link to the old homepage. There's also an update to the Delicious recent posts page. A quick filter at the top of the page lets the visitor display only those recent posts saved by a given number of people. --- Tag: del.icio.us Add to Del.icio.us | Digg | Yahoo! My Web | Furl
