The Toolbar Instant will be familiar to those who have used the Instant feature on Google.com or Google Chrome. Predictions and results instantly appears while you type in the toolbar search box, making it faster to get results. You can enable the Toolbar Instant from the Toolbar Options by clicking the "Enable Instant for faster searching and browsing." The Toolbar Instant also works on IE8 and IE9. If you are using an older browser, you can use Instant by upgrading to Internet Explorer to versions 8 or 9, or try Instant in Chrome.

Toolbar 7 is simplified and you can make it appear less cluttering and cleaner by personalizing it. While the tools you use most frequently will appear on the toolbar, the ones you haven't recently used gets moved to the new "More" button from where it can be accessed. Your personalization settings information are not sent to Google unless you enable your usage statistics. There is more on this personalization at our Help Center.

The new toolbar also has a single settings menu, from where you can choose the features you want to enable and disable the ones you don't. Google's aim, by doing so, is to make "it easier for you to control your privacy settings." However, Google says that some of the toolbar features, such as PageRank and spell check etc., require sharing of some information with them so that those features can run smoothly.

Currently, the Google Toolbar 7 is out in English language only. You can download it from the Google toolbar download page. The company says it will release the toolbar for other languages over the next week. For existing Toolbar users, the latest version will be automatically updated in the next few weeks.
