Yahoo! Is Providing Advertiser Ad Transition Warnings
By: Courtney Mills 2010-05-18 Updates on the Yahoo/Microsoft partnership have been few and far between of late, but Yahoo has just released an update outlining the latest news. Yahoo's top priority is the transition of Yahoo! Search Marketing campaigns to Microsoft's adCenter. A number of steps have been outlined to make this transition as smooth as possible, including:
Yahoo will also be providing advertisers with transition tools in their Yahoo! Search Marketing accounts which includes a step-by-step guide to moving campaign to adCenter. The Yahoo! Transition Centerhas also been created and includes articles, videos and downloadable materials. Yahoo! makes the point that people should beware of malicious phishing emails aiming to take advantage of the transition process. Yahoo! wants to remind users that they will never ask for private information, including credit card information or log-in password in an email. From the update, Yahoo! advertisers had many questions about the transitions. Yahoo! has answered many of these in a separate post. So if youre a Yahoo! Search Marketing advertiser with questions about the transition, then I would recommend checking out the post here.
