Google Adds Average Position To Search Queries Report
By: Courtney Mills 2010-05-11 It was just last month that Google unveiled one of the most significant enhancements to the Google Webmaster area to date and now they have added even more. While the newly-overhauled Top Search Queries report was looking pretty good when released last month, it is now even better with Google adding "average position" data to the report. From the official blog post:

The other significant addition is the "starred" tab which lets webmaster put a star next to their most important search queries. Google says that "all of the queries that you "star" will be consolidated under the Starred tab providing a super easy way to view just the queries you care about." Google is asking for feedback from webmasters about these changes to the report, so feel free to head over to the Webmaster Help Forumand tell them what you think.
