Google Advice For Local Business Center 
By: Don Campbell 2010-03-29 Google called me Friday. They called because Im located in one of the cities/areas they are testing out their new Enhanced Business Listings. The guy on the phone... ...his name was Russ " was very polite and wanted to tell me all about the new enhanced listings. I explained to him that we were testing them out with some clients and getting some decent results so far, but it was too early to tell if they were worth the extra money to run them. While I had him on the phone I asked him for some tips on my Local Business Profile to see what he would say. Were always giving tips here on Expand2Web but I thought it might be fun to share with you what Google says to do. Here are the tips from Google: 1. Use all 5 categories available to you 2. Make sure you use at least one category that Google already recognizes (use Mike Blumenthals tool to choose the right categories for your Local Business Profile.) 3. Replace any generic categories with more keyword specific ones for your business or location. This means you add your business location to the category, for example. See the video for examples.
