Google Social Search With Picture Feature 
By: Courtney Mills 2010-02-02 When Google launched Social Search back in October last year it was set to make search more personal by providing searchers with relevant content from their... ... friends and online contacts. For those who need a refresh on the idea behind Social Search, it allows Google Profile users to see search query results from people in their social network. If your Google Profile is set-up correctly, then Google will scan who you are connected to and give you results from those people if they are relevant to your search query. Judging by the lack of hype in the online world about Social Search, I dont think it has been widely adopted. This however hasnt stopped Google from releasing some new features. This includes adding Social Search to Google Images. When you do a search on Google Images, you may see pictures from people in your social circle. These will be pictures that your friends have made public on sites such as Picasa or Flickr. Google have also added two new links to the social search results called My social circle and My social content. When clicked, these links will take you to a new interface which shows the connections and content behind your socials results.
