51 Languages In Google Translate
By: Navneet Kaushal 2009-09-01 s there are millions of Googlers living and working in dozens of countries, but the products and services on Google are used in more countries. That is why Google Translate has added nine more new languages in order to serve people in various parts of the world. These nine languages include Afrikaans, Belarusian, Icelandic, Irish, Macedonian, Malay, Swahili, Welsh and Yiddish. Now, it means that Google Translate supports 51 languages and 2550 language pairs along with all 23 official EU languages. Although the quality of the translation for these new languages is a bit rough, but the efforts are being made to improve the quality for the all languages supported by Google Translate. In addition, Google Translate is being integrated into some some of other products to spread its realm of services. The fact is that you can already translate emails within Gmail. To translate webpages, you can use Google Toolbar, RSS feeds in Google Reader and finally documents can be translated within Google Docs which are recently added to Google.
