More Layers To Google Local Search!
By: Navneet Kaushal 2009-02-19 If you use Google Maps and make use of it to search locations and other entities, then you must know that it displays only a layer of search results. Here is the screenshot: ![]() According to The Official Lat Long Blog, this new layer is currently available for maps.google.com only but the search engine is saying that it will soon bring it to other domain services as well. You can click on the circles to get more information about the businesses they represent. The top ten results will still appear in the left-hand pane and as pins on the map.
