Google With New Features
By: Navneet Kaushal 2008-12-16 Google Is Testing A Lot Of Features! Google is getting indulged in all kinds of changes these days! But some of them are good, and some of them are awkward! According to Danny Sullivan, three changes are currently being tested live by the search engine. This news has arrived only a few weeks after other major changes were made by Google. These three changes are: Enhanced Listings Enhanced listings are those listings that contain price ranges along with different ratings of all kinds of products and services from all those ventures that are geared up with this type of information on the website. As far as the current situation is concerned, only Yelp, Citysearch, CNET, TripAdvisor and Download.com are indulged in this testing phase. Assumptions are being made that when the features will get implemented, it will be available to any site that has reviews and price ranges with in content Pagelinks Google and its Sitelinks are famous! In fact those who are aware of SERPs must be aware of the fact that sitelinks are interconnected with SERPs! But here is the new invention: Pagelinks ![]() They appear with in the search listings that point to different areas of the page and are situated below the main listing link and are prefixed with Jump to:. The third feature is: Automatic Spelling Correction This change is worth implementing! Of course no content writer would like to write a blog or an article that is geared up with wrong spellings! This creates a very bad impression for sure! The feature is a must for all the creative people out there!
