A few days ago, I had reported to our readers that Google had launched a factor in the Google Trends, known as 'Google Trends for Websites'. Hot on the heels of this launch, according...

...to Google AdWords Blog, Google has launched yet another friendly tool for the Google AdWords members and its name is Google AdPlanner.

Google Ad Planner

This tools is designed to be a research and media planning tool, that has been built to narrow the gap between advertisers and the publishers. All those readers, who are also Google AdWords members can use the Ad Planner to find out which sites your audience is more likely to visit. It also assists users in locating demographics and related searches conducted by the intended audience of your advertisements. Google AdPlanner is also capable of providing aggregate statistics for the sites that you are targeting for your advertising campaigns.

One of the slickest features of this new tool is that, now you can easily create media plans and export them in .csv format file, that can be opened in the form of a spreadsheet.

However, according to TechCrunch, the data in the Google AdPlanner and the Google Trends for Websites seems to be the same and hence, the source of the data can also be perceived as same too. However, it does point to ca common conclusion that Google just might be picking up data from the Google toolbar and sending to these two tools.

When the question of Google toolbar data was raised with Google, it simply answered that, Google does not disclose the elements of our secret sauce.
