Google Expands Its Search Box!
By: Navneet Kaushal 2008-03-26 For quite some time, most of the internet users have been facing a major concern of having a small search box in the Google search engine. Till now, Google search was only limited... ...to 10 words maximum. However, recently Google took appropriate measures and increased the word limits for a query to 32 words. This makes the Google search box much more user friendly and can accommodate increased number of queries. Also, Google has expanded the length of its search box considerably, making it easier to enter the query without having to worry about the content that is being written in the search box. However, one thing to note is that, Google does not expand the search box as you type. It only happens after you search. Still its a great advancement and a much needed change in the online searching patterns. Perhaps, in the coming days, Google might make the search box expand as the user types in it!
