Flickr Thumbnails Showing In Yahoo! Results

Web Search is now showing Flickr thumbnails of the most popular photos of popular landmarks, when these landmarks are searched on by users. Here are some examples: 1. Machu Pichu 2. Eifel Tower 3. Great Wall of China 4. Times Square 5. Stonehenge Yes, I had to include a thumbnail of Stonehenge in there. In any event, what's cool about this is that the experience is driven by the voting on Flickr, rather than some other form of input. Look for more integration of Yahoo's social search properties into it's core web search in the futre.
