Search Public Google Calendar Events

By: Philipp Lenssen
2006-11-15

Google Calendar has a new feature that allows you to search public events. Of course the events have to be listed in Google for you to find them via Google Calendar.

Link: Google Calendar

Enter e.g. symphony in san francisco and hit the "Search Public Events" button in Calendar, and you'll find a list of events which you can view in detail (along with a Google Maps widget) and copy to your calendar. (I didn't get it to find anything in Germany though...)

I wonder when/ if Google will add public events to the normal web search results, too... like as special Google Calendar onebox?

-Thanks Tony Ruscoe!-
