Tagging Feature Gives RSS Feeds More Visibility 
By: Sally Falkow 2006-08-11 Early Monday morning I was testing the new feature of Technorati tags and I wrote and posted an article in the PRESSfeed news feed. We were at SES and... ...about 3 pm that aternnon I checked Technorati to see if there was any visibility on the post. Lo and behold! It was number one for the keywords content syndication. Link: PRESSfeed news feed Our blog had been visible in Technorati - and we use tags in that blog. But this is the first time our RSS feed posts have been picked up and featured so prominently. When I checked back around 5.30 that day I saw that 11 blogs had linked to that post already. One of the questions we were asked repeatedly at SES was where does the feed go - who sees your content? How will I know it is working? With tagging and prominent visibility in Technorati you can easily see where it goes and who is linking to your articles.
