Why Travel Sites Need SEO PR
By: Sally Falkow 2006-07-12 General search engines remain the most important media prompt among online travel researchers, at 17 percent, finds Jupiter Research their "US Travel Consumer Survey, 2006." Link: US Travel Consumer Survey, 2006 Despite garnering extensive media attention during the past year, travel meta search engines have not yet attracted a significant proportion of online travel buyers. So if you want more of that 17 percent coming your way, implement a content syndication campaign so that you can dominate the search results for your keywords in the general search engines. My session at SES San Jose on August 8 at 1 pm explains how to use online PR and news search as a major factor in this strategy. Add to Del.icio.us | DiggThis | Yahoo!
