Google Plans Michigan Facility
By: Andy Beal 2006-07-11 According to the AP, Google has announced it will hire 1,000 employees in the Ann Arbor area, over the next five years. ...the Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News said... ...said Google would announce plans to build an office for its AdWords unit, which handles "pay-per-click" advertising to users of Google's Internet search engine. Do you think this is big news on Michigan? It's going to be bigger than "big", it's going to be... "This is a huge, huge, huge, huge thing," Gov.
