Read Minds With AllTheWeb Livesearch
By: Steve Rubel 2006-05-10 AlltheWeb, part of Yahoo, has rolled out Livesearch. It analyzes your search query in real-time and instantly provides Web results and potential alternate queries as you type. Links: AlltheWeb, Livesearch The queries are based on what other people have searched for. This is a terrific tool for marketers and PR professionals. So much of what we try to do is to get inside the mind of the consumer. We want to know how they think and we spend a lot of money to get there. Livesearch shows us how people search. It pulls up all of the related terms they're looking for when they enter a certain product or category. That's invaluable data. What's unclear is if this tool brings in data from Yahoo or just AlltheWeb, which isn't widely used. (Via MoMB) Add to | DiggThis | Yahoo!
