David Sifry has announced a treasure-chest of updates, including a fresh new look and an integrated approach to displaying search results. Date: 2007-05-23 Google Adds "Hot Trends" Google has announced an upgrade to its Google Trends tool, adding a "Hot Trends" tracker for daily buzz. Similar to services such as Technorati's "top searches" and Yahoo's subscription-only Buzz Index (which also added new features today), Google's Hot Trends is designed to show what search phrases are the most popular on any given day. I hadn't read the book (an oversight I'm correcting) but I did a little quick online research. The update was designed to shed more light on what links to report as well as alleviate some of the concerns webmasters might have.
